Dixie Stampede
Description

What happens when a mighty twister sweeps through an old Tennessee Mining Company?  Locals say the swirling winds twisted ore into what we now call the Tennessee Tornado.  A force of nature all its own, this triple spiral-looping coaster makes you feel like you've landed inside a funnel cloud as you zoom down a 128-foot drop through an actual mountain at speeds of 70 mph.  It's enough to make local weather forecasters issue a "Tennessee Tornado Warning!"

Special Safety Restrictions:  This ride may not operate in cold or inclement weather.

I really like the ride and see it as the best Arrow ride ever built.  It is intense and much smother then most Arrow rides before it.  I always take a ride on this great coaster each time I visit the park. More >>

When i first rode this I was so scared! When it goes up the hill it gives your body perfect time to get second thoughts about riding it! After that It only gets better! More >>

"Huge Loop!"

This is probably my favorite ride at Dollywood and maybe the best Arrow ever built. This thing is fast and furious but very smooth with never a dull moment on the ride. It could last longer but being short makes the line move fast. More >>
